Hello,

I began recently re-writing SMO Ajax Shoutbox from scratch following MVC model, and I thought it’s time to make some changes to the structure of this site, so I’ve added a forum and a bug tracker hopefully They will replace Wordpress comments.

The forum is located under http://forum.nasreddine.com I added sections for most of my projects so please keep it a bit organised.

The bug tracker is located under http://dev.nasreddine.com/bugs/ I added all the available projects.

I also moved ViewVC and gitweb under the dev sub-domain, it makes more sence there so gitweb is located under http://dev.nasreddine.com/gitweb/ and viewvc is located under http://dev.nasreddine.com/viewvc however old links are still valid.

I welcome any comment/suggestion.

I have had a very nice night last night, I was with a friend so we went and bought vodka, beer, juice and bit of this bit of that :D. I finally went to bed at 00:30 AM but the weirdest thing happened this morning, I felt the bed moving WTH lol, so I got up looked around and I finally found out why !! A cat came through the window crawled under the bed and got himself stuck between the bed and the wall trying to climb there lol, Just look how cute he is. The problem was I wasn’t sure if I’m still dreaming or not lol …

Hello,

I changed the theme of my blog today, the theme is simple but beautiful and powerful… The theme is made by Tom, Kudos dude

Anyway there’s still some things that needs fixing, for example, the comments aren’t showing in the static pages, as for the posts, the comments are always bold, but it will be fixed soon! Sorry for any inconvenience…

Oh and here’s a little vote for you

Good evening…

I was sleeping 10 minutes ago, and I woke up because something was touching me, and voila, my cat paid me a visit after he has disappeared for 8 months Yuuupi… and guess what? For all this time outside, he has not changed, he always stays beside the window, and whatever I do, he wants and insists on going outside LOL, look at the pictures below, he’s always staring outside!! crazy lol… You have no idea how hard it was to take those pictures, Spike refuses to turn his sight away from the window, he’s just crazy!!! but I love him

Right after I took the pictures I opened the window and he’s gone, I hope he comes back more often, I’m not even sure what he’s eating, he never eats here!! weird!!!

Last night was a very bad night, I couldn’t sleep because of the Christmas tree I have in my room, well you know what I’m talking about lol, here’s what I had in my room: (c.f: The pictures below.)

• One computer running pfSense (1), used as my main router, serves 2 subnets, 192.168.2.0/24 for my server(s) and 192.168.1.0/24 for my laptop, Playstation etc…
• One computer running FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE (2) and oh well it’s my server, this website is running on it
• One LinkSYS router (3), used as an access point, for my wired/wireless clients…
• 3 USB Hard Disks, 160Gb (4), 500 Gb (5) and 750 Gb (6)

So it was a huge, noisy Christmas tree with lots of LEDs always blinking, so today I woke up, took the carpet of the whole room away so I can have a Ethernet cable between my FreeBOX and my router, and I threw the whole thing in my closet lol…

I should be worried about heat though that’s why I’m gonna install a couple more fans for my server, the router doesn’t heat very much…

Well It has been a long time I haven’t maintained neither my website nor my server, so my first step was to migrate from Gentoo to FreeBSD, don’t get me wrong I love Gentoo, in fact I use Gentoo everywhere, but the Server was so bloated with packages I never used as well as X, Xfce on it, So I’ve decided to clean it up and migrate to FreeBSD.

I just finished up the most important tasks, everything should work smoothly, though there still some stuff I haven’t had the time to fix, for example ViewVC for my configs, but it should be up soon

I was intending to re-open my blog for some time now, And I finally did today, I used the popular wordpress for it’s simplicity and of course k2 theme, I intend to write some articles about the tools (scripts) that I’ve recently made, and some of my configs…
